1. Purpose of This Agreement

This agreement explains the terms under which Preloved Desi allows individuals to list and sell their preloved Indian dresses and wardrobes.

By submitting your dress, you agree to these terms and conditions.​

​

 

2. Seller Responsibilities​

​

• You confirm that all listed items are authentic, owned by you, and free of any disputes.

• Items must be clean, in good condition, and accurately described — including size, colour, and any defects.

• All photos must be original and clear, showing the actual dress.

• You agree to not post any outfit or imitation designer pieces unless clearly labelled as replicas.

• Preloved Desi reserves the right to reject listings that do not meet presentation or quality standards.​

3. Listing Duration​

 

Each approved listing will remain active on the website for 3 months.

​

After 3 months, your listing will automatically expire, unless you choose one of the following options:

​

• Discount price at 25% and list for another month (remove from listing if not sold after 1 month) or

• Remove listing from the site after the first 3 months.​

​

Expired listings can be reviewed after re-approval.

​

4. Pricing and Commission​

 

• You may suggest a selling price. Preloved Desi may adjust it to ensure fairness and consistency.

• A commission of 40% will be deducted from the final selling price.

• Payment will be made to you within 3 business days after buyer’s payment and satisfaction with the dress once received.

5. One Off Membership fee​

​

• A one off membership fee of Rs600 will be charged to each seller.

​

​

6. Product Handling & Delivery​

 

You keep the dress and agree to ship or deliver it within 3 days to the following pick up points : Curepipe, Phoenix or Flacq  once a buyer confirms purchase of your outfit. Preloved Desi shall inform you about any purchase. Preloved Desi shall ensure quality and final presentation check before delivery to buyer. A video of the outfit shall be shared with the seller before dispatch to buyer. You bear the shipment costs to Preloved Desi.

7. Returns & Disputes​

 

If a buyer reports that the item’s condition differs from the description within 2 days of purchase, Preloved Desi may approve a return.

Returned items will go back to the Seller, and no commission will be paid on that sale. Seller is liable to organise pick up of returned items at Preloved Desi’s address. If seller does not pick up returned outfit within 10 working days, the outfit will be donated.

Disputes will be handled fairly and respectfully.

8. Payments

 

Payments will be made via bank transfer.

​​

You must ensure your payment details are correct to avoid delays.

​​​​

​

9. Listing Removal​

 

Preloved Desi may remove or suspend a listing if it:

​

• Violates these terms;

• Receives negative buyer feedback; or

• Becomes outdated or inactive.

10. Limitation of Liability​

 

Preloved Desi is not responsible for:

​

• Damage or loss caused by the buyer in case of returns

• Incorrect item details provided by Seller

• Market price changes or unsold inventory.​

11. Privacy & Data​

 

Your contact information will only be used for communication, payment, and operational purposes in line with our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and will not share your details publicly without consent.

12. Termination​

​

Either party may end this agreement at any time with written notice.

​​

Any active listings or ongoing transactions must be completed before termination takes effect.

​​​​

13. Acceptance of Terms​

​

By listing your item on Preloved Desi, you confirm that:

​​

• You have read and agree to this Seller Agreement.

• All information you provide is true and accurate.

• You cannot post or sell your dress while it is being listed on Preloved Desi's website. In case it happens, the seller shall be banned from further listings and will be charged a penalty fee of 25% on outfit's price.
