The year 2025 has marked my life with countless blessings. One of the memorable events is my wedding with my soulmate for which I shall always be grateful. I remember I was busy shopping for my lehenga/wedding dress and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Those I liked were somehow overpriced and thinking about when I shall put my dress again really made me think thrice before purchase!
Suddenly a thought came through my mind if I am in that situation, there must be so many other girls who are having this dilemma and I would love to help them find their dream dress by creating a community of preloved lovers where the story of one dress can be recreated. That’s when Preloved Desi was born, a local Mauritian web-based shop where you shall find a community of fashion enthusiasts who believe in sustainable luxury and the timeless elegance of traditional and contemporary Desi clothing.
